Hello my name is Alex.
I love capturing those exceptional moments in beautiful light. I first came to photography while studying film and video, and fell in love with the intimacy and magic of still photography. I now live in Los Angeles with my girlfriend and two cats. My journey here has brought me around the world, from Germany where I was raised, to Boston for Art school, and NYC for life school, to literally traveling around the world as Steve Aoki’s tour photographer, to herding horses through the wilds of Iceland. I have had the privilege of working with many amazing people and capturing some amazing moments. That’s what I bring to all of my work, a unique perspective and vision as well as a dynamic and open personality.
